The track is finished. The music is all there but it does NOT sound perfect yet? Would you maybe like to send your track through some analog processors, preamps, compressors to add some PUNCH? Does the track need some warmth or clarity? Is there a problem in the low-end, or does it sound “dull” or “muddy”? Maybe a analog hardware would sound better than my Plug-in? Do the transients still need some work?
Many questions come up before any music is ready for mastering!
Mixing-down your material is absolutely crucial and more important for the sound itself than mastering. Many issues should, and can only be fixed BEFORE and not in the mastering-process so that the mastering engineer can fully focus on getting your material perfectly prepared for which ever medium its going to be released on (Files, or physical Digital or Vinyl). I work in close collaboration with a few mastering-studios to make sure that any issues are fixed before your music goest to mastering. Besides my close partners I am also happy to work together with any other mastering studio of your choice.

            DESCRIPTION
Interested in checking out my studio? Wanting to learn some new tricks or finding out how I mix my tracks? Or do you want to get a general idea about my workflow?
I am opening up my studio to online group-classes and private sessions to give you an impassion on how i work in my studio environment.
You can book a group class based on different topics each class, ranging from beginner classes to advanced classes about modular synthesis, mixing, and engineering to Vintage Synths or Drum programming…
Soon i will be running the group class 'guest series' with known and famous DJs, producers and people in the music-scene you can then ask your questions directly to.
For individual and more streamlined learning I recommend booking a private lesson in which you can choose the topic yourself. We could be working on your projects or go through as list of questions you have. Private Sessions give you 100% control of the content you'd like to learn in order to grow your music production skills.
